SUPER ART TOURS KICKS OFF AT RAINBOWLAND THIS OCTOBER

JOSHUA TREE, CA — September 24, 2026 — Joshua Tree artist Patrick Hasson is launching a new art experience this October with SUPER ART TOURS, a three-weekend celebration of art, creativity and participation at Hasson’s colorful roadside art destination, Rainbowland. SUPER ART TOURS will take place October 3–4, 10–11 and 17–18, running concurrently with the annual Hwy 62 Art Tours.

After participating in the Hwy 62 Art Tours for the past two years, Hasson found himself unexpectedly excluded from this year’s event. Rather than let rejection stop him, he decided to create his own tour. “I thought, well, if I’m not invited, I’ll just throw my own art tour,” Hasson said. “And I figured we might as well make it SUPER.”

SUPER ART TOURS will feature Hasson’s original artwork, hand-embellished prints, Rainbowland clothing and merchandise, and artwork by Hasson’s semi-famous cat, Big Whitey The Artisté. But SUPER ART TOURS is about more than looking at art. Visitors will get to make art, too. Children and adults alike will be invited to help paint The Love Bus, a rainbow- colored, 1960s-style VW Bus and retro photo booth. Visitors can also contribute to Super Painting, a 24-foot-long free-standing collaborative artwork that Hasson describes as the largest of its kind in the Mojave Desert.

“Everyone is an artist in their own right,” Hasson says. “I want people to come to Rainbowland, have some fun and actually get their hands dirty making something.”

Rainbowland is located at 65538 29 Palms Hwy, Joshua Tree, CA 92252. More information is available at www.patrickhasson.com.
